Amy Greenlees
Physiotherapist
MPHty MSpt Sc BAppSc(Ex&Spt)
Amy is a trained Women’s Health Physiotherapist who uses an integrated approach to improve pain and dysfunction. Amy trained with Dr Barb Hungerford for 4 years and uses her techniques to treat Sacroiliac Joint, pelvic, rib, neck and cranial related pain. These techniques are coordinated into Diane Lee’s Integrated Systems Model, of which Amy completed the mentorship program and is integral to looking at the whole body to find the driver of a problem. She is trained in visceral and craniosacral methods to assist in treating the body as a whole.
Integrating treatment techniques such as these allows Amy to assess and treat Women’s health dysfunctions from bladder leakage, urgency, prolapse pre and post natal conditions as well as chronic long term problems including birth trauma. Amy has a background as an Exercise Physiologist which for 10 years before becoming a Physiotherapist she worked with occupational injuries and ergonomics. The combination of Amy’s postgraduate skill sets forms a holistic method of working toward best outcomes for her clients. This on top of an Exercise Physiology background means Amy can treat all conditions using a whole body approach.
She loves solving a long term problem and helping people retrain their nervous system to give long lasting results. Away from Physiotherapy Amy enjoys rowing and the outdoors
